Product FAQs

How much wind does it take for a piece to move?

Not much. Most wind sculptures like ours start moving in a light breeze, well before you'd call it windy outside, so they stay in motion through most normal days.

Will it hold up in a storm?

Yes. These pieces are built to handle serious wind, well beyond typical storm conditions. During extreme weather, some owners choose to unlock and store the piece as an extra precaution, though it's rarely necessary.

How much maintenance does a piece need?

Very little. Each sculpture spins on a sealed bearing that doesn't require oiling or regular upkeep. An occasional wipe down is usually all it takes to keep a piece looking its best.

How long will it last outdoors?

These pieces are built to last for years, often decades, when properly cared for. Copper and stainless steel both hold up well against sun, rain, and wind, and copper actually develops more character over time rather than wearing down.

Ordering & Shipping FAQs

What is the return policy?

Reach out to us directly. Since some pieces are made to order, we handle returns on a case by case basis rather than a blanket policy.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship within 7 to 10 business days. Larger pieces may take longer depending on the sculptor's schedule and current availability.

What if I'm not sure which piece is right for my space?

Email us with a rough sense of your space, sun exposure, and typical wind, and we'll help you figure out what will actually perform well there.

Is installation difficult?

No. Pieces come with a ground mount, pole, and instructions, and most owners get theirs set up without needing a professional.

About The Wind Gallery

We got into wind sculpture because good pieces are hard to find and even harder to trust once you find them. Every piece we carry is hand balanced, tested in real wind, and built to last for years, not one season. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.
